Chris Abuan

My Story

Hello! I'm Chris Abuan, a Product Manager based out of Denver, Colorado. Aside from my first two years out of college, I have spent my career working in Telecommunications - more specifically, in the wireline voice business. I learned a great deal about the wholesale voice market, established customer/vendor relationships, and focused on driving profitable revenue growth while pricing off unprofitable traffic. I was fortunate to be part of a great team, and we developed an early Machine Learning price automation tool. It was a huge success, and ultimately it opened the door for me to move into a Product Manager role where I have been for the last 8 years. I've had the opportunity to maximize the value for a mature product, and I have experience establishing new products too. Most recently, I have been specifically focused on stopping illegal robocalls in the Senior Product Manager role.

Outside the office, you can find me working on computers, servers, or something related to my home 10GbE network. If I'm outside, it's probably doing yard work! I attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, where I double majored in Economics and Psychology. I was also a sprinter on the University track team, where I specialized in the 200, 400m, and 600y events.
